Cobdenhealth invites experienced Registered Nurses to step into a Nurse in Charge role for night shifts in our 60-bed Residential Aged Care facility. This is a progressive leadership role where you'll lead clinical operations overnight, mentor the team, and ensure the highest standards of resident care.

The Role

• Hours: 10pm to 7:30am, night shifts only

• Positions available either full-time or part-time, across the 7-day roster.

• As Nurse in Charge, you will oversee the facility overnight: clinical decision making, supporting ENs / PCAs, responding to emergencies, liaising with on-call GPs/allied health.

• Undertake clinical assessments, medication administration, resident care planning and reviews.

• Contribute to quality improvement, documentation, accreditation etc.

What We're Looking For

• Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA.

• Minimum 3 years aged care (or relevant) experience; prior leadership or acting in charge experience preferred.

• Strong overnight clinical decision making and leadership skills.

• Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to mentor/support staff.

• Commitment to resident-centred, high-quality care.
