Registered Nurse | Work for 2025's Aged Care Leader of the Year

A CEO spending a day as a Carer? "Ain't nobody got time for that!"

  • Right next to major Sydney train station (on-site parking for Night Shifts)
  • $66 per hour + Super + Salary Packaging
  • In-Charge Shift Allowance
  • Mix of Night & Day Shifts
  • One of the most supportive CEOs in Aged Care you can work for

Well actually, I've got this one client...

...whose CEO not only finds the time but gets the entire Board of Directors to do it too. Annually. Not as a photo op, but to genuinely understand, feel what it's like, and connect.
Most would call that a corporate fantasy. For this organisation, it’s just the standard. It’s the ultimate sign of a connected leadership team, and it’s the culture they’re looking to bring another exceptional Registered Nurse into. My client, who also happened to be awarded the "Future of Ageing Awards 2025: Leader of the Year" is looking for a Night Shift RN to support their unique community.

About the Role & My Client
Forget the standard, cookie-cutter aged care home. My client operates a one-of-a-kind community, blending residential aged care, retirement living, and social housing all under one roof. Their mission for the past decade has been to demolish the silos and build one, single, tight-knit community.

With the federal government’s recent $3 billion budget injection and the implementation of the strengthened 7 Aged Care Quality Standards, clinical governance has never been more vital. They aren’t just looking for someone to fill a roster slot. They’re looking for a clinical leader who understands that the heart of a facility is its people, and that clinical safety during night and shoulder hours is the bedrock of safe care.

5 Reasons Why This Is The Best RN Role in Aged Care Today
  1. Work with someone who gets it. You'll report into a facility with a CEO who leads with humility and service. When you talk about on-the-ground challenges on the night shift, the leadership team will understand, because they’ve actually been there on the floor.
  2. Autonomy to Make Real Change. The CEO solved an operational problem that had been festering for 9 years within his first few months. That’s the kind of environment this is. Good clinical ideas aren't buried in bureaucracy; they're embraced and executed.
  3. Join a Culture of Authenticity (No Fakes Allowed). My client’s hiring philosophy is simple: be genuine, be authentic, and have your heart in the right place. They want RNs who like to have a laugh, enjoy their day, and believe in the power of giving back.
  4. Excellent Hourly Rate & Allowances. The value of this role is recognised with a base rate of up to $58 per hour + Super + High-Loading Allowances (including night, afternoon, and weekend in-charge allowances) + Salary Packaging to boost your take-home pay.
  5. Great Location & Commute. Located in Sydney right next to a major train station for an easy transit. Prefer to drive? Secure, complimentary underground parking is provided on-site so you never have to walk down dark streets after a shift.
The Roster
We offer a structured 3 or 4-day weekly roster, with the possibility to scale this up to a full-time 5-day structure if you want more hours in the future:
  • Night Shift: (2 shifts) carrying full site clinical responsibility and a dedicated night duty in-charge allowance.
  • Day Shift: (1 or 2 shifts) to keep you connected with the daytime clinical team and families.
The Bar is High
This is a key clinical position within the facility, and the bar is high. We are looking for:
  • Role: Registered Nurse (experienced)
  • Background: Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse is non-negotiable.
  • Skills: The confidence to work independently, manage a care team, and handle documentation under the current quality standards framework.
  • Energy: You show up every day (and night) as your best self.
