We are seeking an experienced Aged Care Accreditation Consultant to support a respected and established health service organisation in Warrigal, Victoria, as it expands its service offering to include aged care.
Following approval to introduce aged care services, the organisation is seeking a specialist consultant to provide guidance and expertise in accreditation readiness, quality systems, governance frameworks, and compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards.
This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in helping establish the foundations for a high-quality aged care service within a well-established healthcare environment.

The Opportunity


Working closely with executive, operational, and clinical stakeholders, you will provide specialist advice and practical support to ensure the organisation is well-positioned to meet aged care regulatory and accreditation requirements.
You will contribute to the development of quality systems, policies, governance processes, and operational frameworks that support the successful delivery of aged care services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct gap analyses and assess organisational readiness against the Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Support the development and implementation of aged care quality and governance frameworks
  • Review and develop policies, procedures, and compliance systems
  • Provide accreditation readiness advice and audit preparation support
  • Assist with risk management, continuous improvement, and quality assurance initiatives
  • Support leadership teams in understanding aged care regulatory requirements and best practice
  • Develop documentation and evidence required for accreditation and compliance activities
  • Provide coaching and guidance to operational and clinical stakeholders

About You

  • Demonstrated experience as an Aged Care Accreditation Consultant, Quality Manager, Clinical Governance Specialist, or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory framework
  • Proven experience supporting accreditation, compliance, and quality improvement programs
  • Ability to develop and implement governance and quality systems
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, project management, and communication skills
  • Experience supporting new services, transformation projects, or organisational readiness activities will be highly regarded

Contract Details

  • 12-week contract
  • Commencing mid-June
  • Location: Warrigal, Victoria
  • Full-time hours
  • Accommodation provided or $250 per week accommodation allowance
  • Travel assistance available
