About the role

We are currently seeking a Registered Nurses to work across multiple shifts at our facility located in Sinnamon Park. As a Registered Nurse working with Wesley Mission Queensland, you will be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for providing exceptional care. Strong Leadership skills, commitment to best practice and a passionate nature will be rewarded with continual development and growth opportunities available within our Residential Aged Care homes. 

In this role you have a variety of responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Provide a high level of nursing care, including clinical practice and administration of medications

• Provide direct supervision for administration of medications by endorsed enrolled nurses

• Formulate, implement, and evaluate care plans to meet needs of residents and promote quality of life

• Monitor and supervise personal care given by other staff

• Assist in research relevant to clinical matters

About you!

We are seeking applicants with the following:

• Current Registered Nurse Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.

• Demonstrated skills in clinical nursing practice with an understanding of contemporary nursing theories.

• Broad experience in general nursing with knowledge of disability and or aged care preferable.
