About the Opportunity
Our client is a well-established residential aged care provider offering both permanent and respite care services. With a strong focus on person-centred care, they are dedicated to ensuring every resident is treated with dignity, respect, and compassion.
An exciting opportunity is available for an Aged Care Registered Nurse to join their team on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for a compassionate and motivated nurse who is passionate about making a genuine difference in the lives of older Australians.

Key Requirements:
Valid Nursing Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Degree level qualification in nursing
Minimum of one (1) year Aged Care experience
Minimum of three (3) years' experience as a Registered Nurse
Flexibility in working shifts including mornings, afternoons, and nights
Ability to successfully pass a current national police clearance
Australian Working Rights
Proficient clinical skills and knowledge in clinical documentation
Demonstrated leadership qualities, leading by example with a proactive attitude
Capable of assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and delivering care for residents
Genuine passion for providing compassionate care to others
Dedicated team player with exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Excellent time management abilities and a dedication to continuous improvement
Demonstrated capacity to work independently and professionally
Ability to effectively manage a diverse and demanding workload
Previous experience in Aged Care is required

Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with established policies, procedures, and best practices.
Assess the healthcare needs of residents and develop individualised care plans.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor and evaluate residents' conditions, including vital signs and symptoms, and report any changes
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate and implement resident care plans.
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and feeding as needed.
Provide education and support to residents and their families regarding health conditions, treatments, and preventive care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a safe and clean environment for residents and staff.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and quality improvement initiatives.
Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and empathy in all interactions with residents, families, and colleagues.
