About Company

At Care at Ngurra, our name reflects deep cultural meaning drawn from Aboriginal languages. Ngurra is often translated as “country,” “home,” or “place,” but it represents far more—a spiritual and emotional connection between people, their ancestors, and the land.

In many Aboriginal cultures, the land is understood as a living presence, not separate from identity or spirit. Ngurra expresses belonging, responsibility, and the bond that sustains communities.

For us, Ngurra symbolizes care that goes beyond services—it means creating connection, fostering belonging, and supporting people with respect at the center of everything we do.
