An opportunity now exists for an experienced Site Manager to lead a $65M aged care development in the Perth Metro area. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will take ownership of all site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.
This role will suit a proven commercial construction professional who enjoys leading high-performing teams, building strong stakeholder relationships, and driving successful project outcomes on large-scale developments.
Key Responsibilities - Manage all on-site construction activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery
- Maintain and enforce HSE standards across the site
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and material deliveries to align with project programs
- Oversee construction progress through to final handover, meeting contractual, quality, and specification requirements
- Interpret plans, drawings, and specifications to guide effective construction execution
- Supervise site labour, including measurement, levels, and layout of works
- Manage procurement, equipment maintenance, and site security
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and client representatives
- Prepare site reports, participate in meetings, and provide updates to leadership as required
Key Qualifications - Trade qualification in Carpentry or a related building discipline preferred
- Minimum 8-10 years' experience in commercial construction, including Site Management roles
- Proven track record delivering commercial projects valued at $30M+ from start to finish
- Experience on aged care, healthcare, education, mixed-use, or large-scale commercial developments highly regarded
- Strong understanding of Australian construction methodologies, building regulations, and safety requirements
- Demonstrated ability to lead large site teams and manage multiple subcontractor trades
- Excellent planning, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Stable employment history with reputable commercial builders
