We are currently hiring Food Assistant Trainees pursuing a Certificate II in Commercial Cookery for our Aged Care Provider at Kadina. This traineeship provides a fantastic opportunity to develop fundamental kitchen skills under the guidance of experienced professionals, setting the stage for a fulfilling career in the culinary arts.
In this role you will perform a range of specialist cooking tasks such as planning and preparing food for residents of the facility. You may also undertake the following:
Assist in basic food preparation and cooking techniques
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen
Learn under the mentorship of experienced chefs
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
Embrace opportunities for skill enhancement and professional growth
To be considered for a Kitchen Operations Traineeship the following is required:
Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
Enthusiasm for the culinary industry
Basic understanding of kitchen processes
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
