About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to perform personal care duties for our independent residents residing in villas and serviced apartments at Weary Dunlop Retirement Village in Wheelers Hill, VIC 3150. This is a Part Time role, we have range of shift times available, to be discussed.

At Ryman we are shaping the future of care. As a Personal Care Worker, you are helping care for our residents by adding value to their daily routines. Enable our residents to live life to the fullest through the provision of:

• Personal care
• Companionship
• Shopping
• Occasional ad hoc duties

About you

As Ryman expand our care offerings, we are looking for individuals who value kindness, care, and excellence to deliver care that is good enough for mum and dad. In addition we are looking for:

• Certificate III/IV in Ageing support or Certificate III in Individual Support
• Previous experience working with elderly / in a client centric role
• Kindness in your DNA. You must be empathetic
• Be resilient - some days are challenging
• Outstanding communication skills. You must be able to establish strong connections and trust with our residents
• A reliable, friendly, and professional style
