About this role:

Kanda is seeking a Personal Carer to join our community nursing team in Brisbane's Mooloolaba region to provide care to our Veteran (DVA) and aged community living at home.

You will be paid your hourly rate for the entirety of the shift from arrival at your first client to your last, with an additional 99c/km reimbursement for travel between clients.

The work is weekdays, with availability needed on Tuesday & Thursday, commencing at 8:00am supporting clients with both personal care work and light domestic duties. There may be a wide travel radius involved with this position, and as such it is a requirement of the position that you have a reliable fully insured motor vehicle and full Drivers Licence.

This is casual role with a requirement of minimum 10 - 15 hours per week availability.

You will need to have:

• Experience in a comparable role
• Good time management skills
• Current police clearance certificate (within the last 12 months)
• Working with Children Check
• Covid-19 Vaccinations x 2 (essential for work in the aged care sector)
• Current Drivers Licence
• Current & renewed Manual Handling, CPR and First Aid
• Reliable, registered and insured motor vehicle - Essential
